seen on track to the Black Rock reservoir in Votualevu Nadi. A whole thicket of these by the side of the track up to the top (a magnifiecient view of the Nadi Basin from up top) and had to take a shot despite the impending thunderstorm a few minutes later.

on the ground - parts of the barren, heavily altered, dry areas of northeastern Vanua Levu (second largest island in the Fiji Group) are planted with Carribean Pine. This is from the Solove area to the NE of Labasa Town.
